In July of 2012, Tehama Trader, Inc, the publishers of the popular paper,
Tehama Trader, Direct, made the sad decision to discontinue publishing.

This decision was a hard one after 34 years of continuous publishing.
Unfortunately, the poor economic times we find ourselves in has hit the small businesses very hard.
As an advertising newspaper, our life blood is the small business.

With the display advertising dollars dropping, we decided that it was more prudent
to cease publishing rather than continue to operate in the red.

Although there are no current plans to do so, it is possible that we may resume publishing,
sometime in the future when the economy has fully recovered.
